PERSONAL
Really?
Examining my life through delulu lens.
I’m not tired of my routine;
it’s good to know I have structure,
my life is in place… though it’s far
from perfect,
I am buried in responsibilities that
life demands,
brushing my teeth alone takes away
fifteen minutes of my life everyday,
and that’s almost eight hours every month,
ninety six hours a year!
imagine how demanding that is,
what else could I have done with
those ninety six hours?
but it’s part of my routine,
and it’s important.
I’m telling you,
my life is in place,
I haven’t seen my family for
almost two decades now,
I don’t have a home in this
foreign country,
I live off of a blue collar job
that turns me into a
humanity spy,
I write stuff that no one cares about,
I waste my time on the same old films
that I must have already watched
ten or twenty times before,
I doom scroll to catch how
the algorithms justify my life,
but I have a routine, you see,
my life is in place.
oh, and even my food diet is also a part of it;
same breakfast, same lunch, same dinner,
seldom shall I engage in varieties,
it’s a rule,
it’s part of me,
I just have to make sure, you know,
to keep my life in place.
Unhinged!
But my life is in place.
Must I say that again?
My life is in place.
By the way, what else could I have done
with those ninety six hours?
Though my life is already in place.
Imagine. Just imagine.
How life keeps me in place.
